Our farm is nestled in the heart of the charming rural village of Balfour, at the northern tip of the picturesque Southland region in New Zealand.

Being centrally located, we enjoy the best of both worlds – the idyllic beauty of Central Otago and the serene countryside of Southland.

Our peaceful country lifestyle comes with the convenience of having Gore (30mins), Invercargill (60mins), and Queenstown (90mins) within driving distance.
Gore features shops, supermarkets, cafes, banks, services, basic hospital, medical and dental clinics, theatre, gardens and more. Invercargill offers a national airport, entertainment, sports facilities, and the stunning Oreti Beach. Queenstown, known as the adventure capital of the Southern hemisphere, boasts breathtaking scenery, shopping, medical facilities, ski resorts, and an array of thrilling activities that attract visitors from across the globe.

Balfour, where our farm is located, is a warm and inviting community with a playcentre and primary school, while the township has essential amenities like convenience stores, pub, sports facilities, and limited services. The neighbouring town of Riversdale (10mins drive away) also has a pre-school, primary school and similar shops. Both villages are on the school bus route. For high school education, Lumsden (20mins) and Gore (30mins) provide options.
