WE’RE HIRING A TRACTOR DRIVER - Family owned - Large Scaled Dairy Farm

Join our experienced team on a large scale dairy farm in Balfour, Southland.

This role is a vital part of our farming operation.

The Role

• Manage daily feed rations in the cow barn (prior knowledge of mixer/silage wagon operation would be an advantage)

• Ground preparation for all crops

• Mowing & topping paddocks

• Assist with the management & running of dry stock on the run off blocks

• General farm maintenance

The Ideal Candidate

• Experience driving tractors and can use a range of machinery & implements

• Mechanically minded & can maintain tractors, machinery, and implements to a high standard

• Take pride in your work & has the ability to plan days / weeks, to achieve target dates

• Can work collaboratively with another tractor driver

• Seeks to improve skills & learn new systems

• Flexible to work in all areas of our business during certain times of the year

• Can use your initiative & have a ‘think for yourself’ attitude

• 2 x Case Optum 250

• New Holland T7225

• JCB Loader & Telehandler

• BVL Mixer Wagon

• Triple Mowers

• Ground preparation implements
